About Rebel Rebel Wines
With our Syrah and Colombar, we'd like to take you on a journey to very special vineyards, perched high atop a granite hill on the slopes of the Bottelary Hills in Stellenbosch. The first time Kayleigh walked through these vineyards and tasted these grapes, she dreamt of making wine from these very special sites. Finally, in 2020, that became reality! We want to transport you and show you the beauty of the Bottelary with these very special wines, and hopefully inspire some excitement for natural wines from this remarkable region.
Rebel Rebel Wines was founded in the chaos of the 2020 vintage.
The wines are made naturally. No alterations or adjustments.

Kayleigh Hattingh
At the heart and soul of REBEL REBEL WINES is our owner and winemaker, Kayleigh Hattingh. There’s no doubt that her vision and passion for low-intervention wines is the driving force behind this project. She loves a good laugh, and is specifically enthusiastic about puns.
Henning Joubert
Henning brings knowledge and professionalism to REBEL REBEL WINES. He makes sure the checkbook balances, and is usually standing next to Kayleigh at tastings and events, ready to pour wine in your glass and have a chat. He has also mastered the left handed swirl (quite an accomplishment if you ask us)
